The delivery code: why your captain won’t hand over your order without it
Six digits that only you can see in the BRINGERS app, and your order is handed over only with them. What the delivery code does, and why it protects you and the captain.
Safety & privacy When a BRINGERS captain reaches your door, “your order is here” is not enough. They will ask for your delivery code: six digits that appear in your app and nowhere else.
How it works
- The code appears on your order page in the app.
- The captain asks you for it at the door and enters it in their app.
- Delivery is accepted only with the correct code, and only near your address.
Why we insist on it
It proves the order reached its owner. Nobody can mark your order “delivered” without it reaching you, because nobody else knows the code.
It protects the captain too. With the correct code their fee is added to their balance the moment they deliver, with no argument about who received what and when.
Sending it as a gift
You can enter the recipient’s name and number, and the order is handed to them. Make sure they get the code from you.
A tip
Don’t share the code until the order is in your hands. The BRINGERS team will never ask for your code or your password by message or call.
